BSNL all set to increase Broadband speed on Home plans 625UL and 750UL

Largest Broadband provider in India, BSNL is all set to increase speeds on popular broadband home plans 625UL and 750UL within 2 to 3 months. Currently the talk has been going on with telecom department and once approved, it would be implement soon. It is expected that the new speed will be effective from January 2012. As of now 625UL provides 256Kbps of speed while the 750UL plan provides 512Kbps of speed. Most probably the speeds are gonna be doubled in the new telecom policy as the minimum speed for broadband is going to be defined at 512 Kbps only. Thus other plans will also get the benefit of this and most plans speed is going to increase.

Around one year ago BSNL doubled speed on 750UL plan from 256 Kbps to 512 Kbps. There are several other things which would start one the new telecom policy passes. There won’t be any roaming charges and you can enjoy one number any where in India. Even Mobile number portability will be possible in any part of India on any operator. We could only expect that they increase the speeds soon as the other parts of World are getting very high speeds while India still lacks in 256Kbps or 512Kbps.
