Sometime you may feel difficulty in adding the desktop icon to the quick launch bar. But now you can do it easily.

I just found out a quick way to solve this problem, you need to create a .scf file, save it anywhere in your pc, drap and drop that file to the quick launch bar. You can find the whole process step by step below :-

First of all open the Notepad, then Copy and paste the following code in the notepad - 

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

After that you need to go to File and save it as “showdesktop.scf”

Drag the saved file into the quick launch bar and it’s done.

Now you have again got your desktop icon into your quick launch bar
